Bosch's SMS66GI01I is the same machine as the SMS66GW01I in Silver Inox, with the most ratings of any dishwasher we list (3,047), for about ₹3,000 more.
Oily Indian Vessels
Both brands have hot programs for kadhais and cookers:
- Bosch SMS66 and SMS46 models: Intensive Kadhai at 70°C, plus Auto, Express Sparkle, Eco, Quick and Pre-rinse.
- IFB Neptune models: Pots & Pans at 65°C and Hygiene at 70°C, plus Light Soiled, Eco and Super 50'.
Each brand's loading diagram shows a kadhai, a 5 L pressure cooker and a tawa in the lower rack alongside a dinner set. Scrape off leftovers first, and soak badly burnt-on vessels.
Verdict: a tie. Both have a 70°C program built for Indian vessels.
Noise
The Bosch SMS66GW01I is rated at 44 dB and the SMS46KI03I at 46 dB; both IFB models are rated at 52 dB. In an open kitchen next to the living room, that difference is worth paying for.

Hard Water

Q2: Can a dishwasher clean a pressure cooker? A stainless steel cooker, yes; Bosch and IFB both list a 5 L cooker in the lower rack. Aluminium cookers should be hand-washed, because dishwasher detergent darkens aluminium. Remove the rubber gasket and wash it by hand.
