Start with the dock, because it decides how much work you still do. A robot with only a charging dock needs its dustbin emptied and its mop pad rinsed after most runs. A self-empty dock takes the dust out for you for weeks at a time. An all-in-one dock also washes the mops, and the better ones wash them in hot water and dry them, which matters for daily pocha in humid Indian homes. Then look at the mop itself: a fixed pad wipes, while rotating or roller mops scrub. Finally, check the robot's height against your beds and sofas, the threshold height it can climb, and whether it maps rooms with a laser so you can send it to one room or keep it out of another.
We only list robot vacuum cleaners that also mop, rated 4.0★ or higher on Amazon, with at least 100 reviews and an Amazon "bought in the past month" badge showing at least 100 a month, and we recheck them regularly. Suction, runtime, dock features and warranty come from each model's own listing; where a listing gives two different figures, we leave the figure out. Many brands share one Amazon rating across several models, and each product page says when that happens. We last checked during the Great Indian Festival sale, so prices and monthly sales may be higher than usual.
Our Best Overall is the ECOVACS DEEBOT N50 Pro Omni (about ₹54,000): 25,000 Pa suction, two rotating mops, and a station that empties the dust, washes the mops in 75°C water and dries them. It sells 4,000+ a month on Amazon and is rated 4.4★ by 1,222 buyers. The ECOVACS N30 Plus (about ₹28,000) is our Best Value and the best-selling robot we list; the ECOVACS Y1 PRO (about ₹15,000) is our Budget Pick; and the Dreame L50s Pro Ultra (about ₹70,000), with 30,000 Pa and 100°C mop washing, is our Premium Pick.
It depends on the mop. A fixed mop pad drags a damp cloth behind the robot: fine for daily dust and footprints on tile and marble, but it wipes rather than scrubs. Rotating or roller mops press down and spin, which does more on dried spills and sticky kitchen floors; 9 of the 24 robots we list have them. None replaces an occasional deep clean of a very dirty floor.
A self-empty station sucks the dust out of the robot into a bag or bin, so you empty it every few weeks instead of after every run; in our list those cost about ₹19,900–₹34,000. An all-in-one station also washes the mops and usually dries them, so you stop handling dirty mop pads; those cost about ₹40,000–₹1,00,000. A robot with only a charging dock (about ₹11,000–₹27,000) needs its bin emptied and mop rinsed after most runs.
Measure the height under beds and sofas against the robot's height, and check door thresholds: most listings that state a figure say the robot climbs 20 mm, while the ECOVACS X11 climbs 4 cm. Clear cables, floor mats and dupattas before a run. Check your Wi-Fi: the Narwal Freo X Plus works only on 2.4 GHz. If anyone at home doesn't use apps, the ILIFE models come with a remote control.
Most robots we list carry a 1-year warranty; the listings for the Dreame L50 and F10 and the Narwal Freo X Ultra 2.0 and Freo X Plus don't state one. Budget for replacement mop pads, side brushes, filters and, on stations that use them, dust bags. Narwal says to use only its own floor cleaner in its robots.
