An OTG (oven toaster griller) is the countertop oven most Indian homes buy for cakes, biscuits, pizza and tandoori grilling. In the last few years "air fryer ovens", box-shaped ovens that blow hot air hard to crisp food, have started selling alongside them. This guide compares both, because they do much the same job and only six classic OTGs pass our listing rule.
How we chose. We list ovens rated 4★ or higher on Amazon, with at least 100 ratings and an Amazon "bought in the past month" badge showing at least 100 a month, checked on 12 October 2026. Six classic OTGs and seven air fryer ovens (10 L or more, with a door and racks) pass. Basket-style air fryers are on our air fryer page.
We haven't run hands-on tests. Capacity, power, functions and warranty come from each model's Amazon listing. Prices are Great Indian Festival prices on 12 October 2026; the product boxes below show today's price.

Our Picks
Best Overall: Glen 35L OTG (SA5035BLRC)

Glen 35L OTG with Convection and Motorised Rotisserie (SA5035BLRC)
Families who bake and roast: 35 L, a convection fan and a straight 2-year warranty
The Glen has the features that make an OTG easy to bake in: a convection fan, a motorised rotisserie and six heating combinations, plus an oven light, a 60-minute timer with bell and a removable crumb tray. It sells 400+ a month, is rated 4.0★ by 2,761 buyers, and Glen's listing states a 2-year warranty. All for about ₹5,500.
Things to know: it's 52 cm wide and weighs 12 kg. The thermostat tops out at 230°C, against 250°C on the iBELL 25L and Bajaj.
Budget Pick: iBELL 25L OTG (IBLEO25LGNEW)

iBELL 25L OTG with Rotisserie (IBLEO25LGNEW)
First OTG on a budget: the best-selling classic OTG we list
At 700+ a month, it's the best-selling classic OTG we list, and it's rated 4.2★. You get 25 L, 1600 W, 100–250°C, a rotisserie and an inner light for about ₹4,200.
Things to know: no convection fan is listed. iBELL gives 1 year, plus a second year only if you register within 30 days. The rating appears to be shared with the iBELL 40L.
Best Value: iBELL 40L OTG (EO40LGDLX)

iBELL 40L OTG with Convection and Motorised Rotisserie (EO40LGDLX)
40 L with convection and a motorised rotisserie for under ₹6,000
For about ₹400 more than the Glen, the iBELL 40L gives 5 more litres with convection and a motorised rotisserie, at 1800 W. iBELL pitches it at whole-chicken rotisserie, pizzas and large baking trays.
Things to know: the same register-for-the-second-year warranty, and the same apparently shared 4.2★ rating as the 25L.
